Default Does the iphone internet works exactly like the one on the computer?

I'm planning to buy an iPhone. But before i do that i need to find out if the iphone can view every website just like the one on the computer. Does Safari support all websites including JAVA and flash players. Can i view Youtube and pics and other videos on the Iphone using the internet website? One last thing how long does it take for a page to load?

Now I personally do not own an iphone but a few friends of mine do and I have played around with it. The sites I have loaded worked perfectly with it, the browser is capable of java and flash. It loads youtube as well but make sure you get a good data deal as youtube is data excessive and can easily make you go over your limit.

How long the page takes to load depends on a few factors:

1. How well the html of the page is written, if it is all jumbled up it'll take longer than say loading google.
2. It says 3G but some areas may not get 3G and thus your internet might suffer.
4. How data excessive the website is, for example if the site contains ten youtube videos, simultaneous music playing and a bunch of pictures, it will definitely take longer to load than when you are using high speed internet at home.

Hope that helped.

Internet basically depends on your connection. But if we are talking about how iPhone parse the website data, then yes, it's probably one of the closest smart phones to computer's browsers.

I have use alot portable internet enabled device and base on my experience iphone internet does work like computer internet browser since it's made for this purpose. Regarding your internet connection, it depends with your service provider whether they have 3g connection on your locality and your service provider charges may be expensive.

I'm browsing with my mobile phone but i can't run flash files on it, only java but good enough to check some mail, browse and make a post in forums, do my blog but really hard to navigate compare to iphone.

internet, iphone
