This is Prince's complete set from the first night at the Rock In Rio II Festival in Brazil. The entire show was filmed, however only 45 minutes were ever broadcast (see the edited broadcast HERE). The picture quality of the unedited footage is much poorer than the broadcasted version. Parts are extremely lacking in colour, and the footage has an almost 'soft focus' effect (see screen caps below). The sound quality, however is surprisingly clear. Professionally filmed by various camera's, there are some exceptional shots....just a pity about the quality. The show itself contains some rarely performed tracks, and some different versions of live favourites. 'Let's Go Crazy' is performed entirely different than normal, and The Time's 'Shake' is given an airing. My only 2 problems with the show (besides the picture quality) are that : 1. Prince is camping it up BIG style, to the point of acting absurd in places, and 2. Tony M (nuff said). The audio is available on many releases, however Sabotage's 'The South American Festivals 1991' (minus Jughead) contains both this show and the Buenos Aires 21st January concert.
