The video details just how horribly KFC treats chickens—birds are so crippled that they can't even walk, live birds are forced into tanks of scalding-hot water while completely conscious and able to feel pain, and in Moorefield, West Virginia slaughterhouse workers kill birds by slamming them against the wall and stomping on them!

I'm calling on consumers to "Kick the Bucket" and boycott KFC until the company agrees to make some simple improvements in the way it treats animals.

Please sign the petition below to join me and other compassionate consumers everywhere in taking your business elsewhere until the company agrees to take animal welfare seriously.

Of course, the best thing that you can do to help animals is to stop eating them, so please consider trying a vegetarian diet—just like me. And if you don't think cruelty to animals is a strong enough argument for vegetarianism, you might want to at least read up on how eating meat leads to a higher risk of impotence and of slowing the flow of blood to all the organs, not just to the heart, if you catch my drift.

You know, the vegetarians put this into their brochures too as one of the reasons who should lessen or stop to consume meat. That is truly cruel, and in fact humans are the cruelest being in the world. I also watched a video like this for pig slaughter.

Wuhh... I wonder if people can eat meat while watching this. Poor animals. It is true Laura, human beings are the real animals in the world. You see what they can do to other human and even their families and kids.

She can do if many sign the petition. But I visited the site though, and I am not sure if the site or the petition is serious. Is Pamela one of the PETA members?

Do you know, meats also have much bacteria you can not see. And they way they are "forced" to grow even contribute more. When they are stress, the body releases toxins more as well.

That is why many people go vegetarians. It is still a hard decision though. We are beings with lots of desires. Just lessen the consumption. Meat is also high in purines which can cause many diseases such as gout.

Not only are we the cruelest animals, we are hypocrites. I remember seeing all the outrage over Vick and dog fighting coming from non-vegetarians and it sickened me. These hypocrites would say that what goes on in slaughterhouses is humane and needed(even though pigs are smarter than dogs). In this day and age people don't need to eat meat.

I know what goes on in slaughterhouses and I willingly participate in this barbarian like behavior. Unlike most of the meat eating Americans at least I can admit what I am doing is wrong(although I don't plan on stopping anytime soon). I have great respect for vegetarians.

It is individual's decision whether to be a vegetarian or not. I will personally choose not to be, but I have respect for those who are as long as they know what they are doing. In my family and community, most will not be allowed by their parents to be vegetarian when they are still young (< 50 or 60 yo).

My Mom would kick my ass if I become a vegetarian,

.. That is a big no. I understand they just think of our benefits. They only know proteins from meat, that's why they do not allow it.

Wow, first time I've seen that one. It is a shame the way these animals are treated. I personally don't eat at KFC, haven't for years now. After seeing this, I'm glad I don't and I'm going to recommend this video to a few of my friends.

THis has been a public secret since few years ago. I don't like KFC either but sometimes when you can't find a restaurant near you and you feel hungry, KFC is the only option

guys...chickens are meant to be killed and eaten by omnivores like us. Despite it sounds cruel but all of us are responsible in making it possible because you also eat meat (unless if you are vegetarian i can understand your anger)
